An American rock band that Jack White and Brendan Benson started together in Detroit in 2005, rounded out by Jack Lawrence and Patrick Keeler of The Greenhornes. Two songwriters trading off lead vocals give it a loose, garage-rock kick; the band later based itself in Nashville around White's Third Man Records.
