A blues-rock trio from Toronto, Canada, that came together in 1985 around the blind guitarist Jeff Healey. Healey played the electric guitar flat on his lap, fingering the fretboard from above - a technique all his own that gave the band an instantly recognisable sound. Their breakthrough ballad "Angel Eyes" reached a wide audience, while the live shows leaned on raw, blazing guitar work.
