An American rock band from Aberdeen, Washington, that came together in 1987 around Kurt Cobain and Krist Novoselic. With drummer Dave Grohl they carried grunge to a global audience, and Nevermind pulled underground rock into the mainstream. The band came to an end in 1994 after Cobain's death.
