A Soviet and Russian rock band from Sverdlovsk, formed in 1982 and led by singer Vyacheslav Butusov. Their brooding new wave and post-punk, with poetry by Ilya Kormiltsev, made them one of the defining bands of late-Soviet rock before Butusov dissolved the group in 1997.
