An American rock band that came together in Los Angeles in 1985. Its classic line-up was Axl Rose, Slash, Izzy Stradlin, Duff McKagan and Steven Adler, mixing hard rock with punk and blues. The 1987 debut Appetite for Destruction became one of the best-selling debut albums ever.
